for books on (hardy) eucs i would recommend "eucalypts of victoria and tasmania" and as a general overview of eucs and australian trees in general "forest trees of australia". for websites "the hardy eucalyptus page" by Ian that can be accessed from this very site. the "rainbow" euc (e. deglupta) is NOT hardy being native to the phillipines and unless treated as an indoor/outdoor plant with conservatory protection during the winter should not be regarded as a viable choice for anything outside the mildest parts (zone 9b/10a). my address is "dismalvista at yahoo dot com". i can try to send you pictures but because many of my trees are large and my camera is not especially good all you will likely see is pictures of the trunk and relatively distant views of the whole tree with maybe some close-up shots of foliage and/or flower buds and seed capsules.
