But one of the reasons for this focus on Eucs, is it's use as an insect repellent. We have (due to global warming?) ever more ticks in our garden, causing Lyme's didease; more dangerous diseases (also passed over by ticks) are expected to reach the Netherlands soon. Both my wife Anki and me have been infected and treated with antibiotics. We are very alert now! Do you know if Eucalyptus forests in Europe remain free from ticks, or am I the first person with this idea? Sorry for drifting away from the thread, maybe a new thread should be started.
