I got a eucalyptus gunni hybrid ( archeri probably ) it got fried during last winter, temperatures were very low with heavy snowfall ( -8c average to lowest -16c ). all foliage is fried and it's tips are burned which is not surprising since it's in the open and not sheltered.
it's a 3 year old specimen and has not seen cold winters and is not accustomed to very low temperatures.
I've scratched the bark in the middle section ( not at the lignotuber ) and there is some green healty tissue underneath ( it smells healty as well )
now my question is - since it's totally fried with 95 tip burn - should i cut it down so it can regrow or will it regenerate itself without cutting wood ?
