Simply Delighted!

I can´t recall how I became to KNOW there was an Edward Whittemore! Maybe it was by just browsing around literature or bookstore web pages. Finally I bought a solid used copy of "Quin´s Shanghai" found through Alibris. I finished the book last night, absolutely delighted. Just ordered Sinai Tapestry from Amazon and can´t wait to start reading. I am a Spanish speaking person, but an avid English reader. Whittemore book was really outstanding and different. The unusual plot is fun and intriguing and the writing style sounds like poetry to me. Whish these books were available in Spanish to widely recommend them to my friends! What a difficult task a translation would be to make justice to the original... Thank you for this page. It is great! And I apologize for my English. I am sure that reading more Whittemore will help me a lot improving it.

Welcome Gabriel, to the Edward Whittemore Appreciation Society, as I like to call it. There are a lot of us from all over the world.

There is a Spanish version of Sinai Tapestry, which I only just discovered myself last week.

Anne, this is great news! No Google, No Yahoo... nothing ever took me to a Spanish Whittemore version. Now that there is a reference, I´ll go deeper to find out more.

Hi Gabriel,

Good Luck with locating the Spanish edition. My guess is that if they have published Sinai Tapestry they will be also issuing Spanish editions of the rest of the Quartet in due course.
