It is quite possible that Whittemore wrote reviews at some or other but there are none available that I know of. His favorite writers, according to Tom Wallace, were Graham Greene and John Le Carre. Being an ex CIA operative he obviously liked spy novels. It is plain from reading his own novels that he was very well read. Whether his taste ran to fantastic literature I'm not sure. I have read Voyage to Arcturus myself, though a long time ago. It was pretty bizarre if I recall. As Whittemore died in 1995 it is doubtful if he ever had much to do with the Internet though his thoughts on the subject would undoubtedly be interesting. Having found it to be an invaluable resource myself, I'm sure he would have been into it in a big way were he alive today. I've always thought that he likes having this web site dedicated to him. So many really good things have happened since I created it, that it is almost as if he is watching over us still. Thank you for your complimentary comments on the site and welcome to the Edward Whittemore Appreciation Society. Anne
