John , I'm sure Cheryl will agree that you need to acquire a leg sleeve (Jambiere) it comes with a velcro tear away bite bare for the reward. When you have taught correct head turning techniques, you can move onto a full leg sleeve , also can be slipped to reward the dog. Both of these pieces of equipment can also be used to teach entries.I have taught complete exercises using only the Jambiers'. The dog by this time is completely comfortable with the exercises. Then you can intro the suit pants , by holding them in you two hands as a leg sleeve,then still able to slip the whole pant, then eventually putting on the pants. The outs should be taught on the Jambiere, so you can retrieve the slipped pants without heavy corrections.
