How do I allocate an address of a scanner to the controller so that it recognises it's presence. I have read it has something to do with the dip switches or am I wrong? Secondly, and I'm assuming that this is the correct order, once the controller has recognised the scanner's presence, is this where you then apply the values for the individual options like gobos and colours etc.
I am really shooting in the dark here and would appreciate an idiots guide to DMXing. (with pictures)
