There is a way using a serial interface, in my case the ET200S-2Si, RS232 ASCII interface. However, you will still need a converter RS232/DMX512, such as this one from DWORKIN (http://dworkin-dmx.de/en/). RS232 is also limited to 115200 baudrate whereas DMX512 runs on 250k. It may work with a lower speed if not all 512 channels are used, but have not tried yet. I am still researching for various components to see if i can get away without any additional components, so i have not developed anything yet,but according to my software "freak" it should be no problem.
