In the first place, Neo-neon should recode their receivers or take a look at the hardware design. I will be in Gungzhao, China from 4th to 9th Aug for the Pro Sound, Light & Musical Instrument Fair and will be visiting Pearl River, which has it's plant nearby. if you could give me the model number of the unit concerned, then I would be glad to take it up with them. Those guys are pretty enthusiastic even though communication is a problem at times Ujjal
Whatever be the speed of the DMX engine, I would definitely say that there should be a "hold last value till proper refresh" thingy in the processor coding or hardware. If a channel misses a frame there is no reason for it to loose previous data. Naturally this would slow down reaction time of the fixture since it's receiver is missing updates but that would generally look like a stepped response to a person viewing the fixture....but flikering is unacceptable.
