RDM details will be explained at dmxx512-online.com as soon as I get clearance from Karl Ruling . These explainations will be in simple language for all to understand and will not be the actual wording used by the published ESTA document. Karl promised to send the go ahead as soon as it is legally possible.

I was present at the Breakfast meeting at PLASA last year on RDM and I raised a stinker about some companies (like Swisson, for example) printing "RDM READY" on their product. Most people at the meet agreed that it was commercially unfair at this stage. No one could give a reasonable explaination about what they exactly meant by "RDM READY" and so be wary about buying a product with those words on.

BTW anyone thinking of designing and building circuits with RDM implementation, should get hold of a Artistic Licence JUMPSTART. I got one sample from them for evaluation and it works great. You will really need one if you want to test RDM devices.
