to watch Jr racing. AND to get to see him LEADING.
It was scary to hear in the interview, after his car was out of the race, that he had had a fire in the bottom of his car and his fire suit actually was on fire on his lower leg. I thought he seemed kind of in a panic to get out of his car and now I know why. He was probably having flash backs to the fire he was in when that vet he was driving caught fire and he got burnt many yrs back.
It was so precious to see Isla and Nicole at the race and Amy too. Jr always said he was sad that his girls were so young they'd not remember seeing him in a race but Isla will for sure and if Jr does it a few more yrs so will Nicole. I noticed Amy wasn't all smiles like she usually is.....I don't think she likes Jr doing any races after going thru all that concussion stuff with him. LIFE may be like a box of chocolates, but not Dale Jr. With him, you always know what you are getting!

I agree about the fire stuff. I got to watch the whole race. It was great! Loved watching him lead. He really had a good car. Isla was adorable. She used to be so camera shy. If Jr couldn't win, I'm glad JRM did! Geaux Jr. Geaux LSU Tigers Who Dat!
I really enjoyed watching Junior race. It was fun again and he seemed to be having a good time. Too bad he didn't get to finish the race. I'm glad Justin won. I can't believe 3 of the JRM cars were involved in that accident and were done for the night.
JRM DID IT ALL. OWNER MADE A GREAT SHOWING, LOST 3 CARS BUT ENDED UP WINNING THE RACE. HOPE THE REPAIRS TO THE 3 CARS DOESN'T BLOW THE BUDGET TO FIX.

I STILL THINK AMY DID NOT LOOK LIKE A HAPPY CAMPER. SHE'S PROBABLY SCARED TO DEATH HE'LL GET HURT AGAIN, BUT I THINK HE'S PLAYING IT SAFE FOR THE MOST PART. LIFE may be like a box of chocolates, but not Dale Jr. With him, you always know what you are getting!
