When I left up north mid-week, some of the Summer annuals had seen better days and a few small acorns had dropped on the patio but weather wise still hot. Down in Florida, the temperature has been hovering at 90 degrees..too hot to be outside except in the early am and evening. So far, I haven't ventured outside except to the grocers. There's a lot of things to be done that only the woman of the house might see or care about and that's what I've been doing. While I was gone, a beautiful new patio has been added to the condo and that makes me happy. Trees that dropped until the branches were bare and constantly needing raking by me and not the maintenance crew are gone. Now in their place, chairs and an umbrella. We even now have a portable BBQ and a small folding table. It was challenging to pick outside furniture because when away for any length of time or in the event of a hurricane, all outside things must be brought in.
