Yesterday, my daughter and I were headed out to a check a new kitchen table she was contemplating. The thoroughfare we were on was a three lane road with bumper to bumper cars and trucks. A guy on a motorcycle darted between us from the right with inches to spare. We stopped for a traffic light and he was side by side on the driver side.
My daughter rolled down her window and I was afraid she was going to confront him, something not too wise these days and I cautioned her. She said with a smiling face "You scared me!" and when he turned his face toward her, he was a young man with a pleasant look smiling too. As the light turned green and he took off, I was horrified to see him doing a wheelie as indicated by this image.
It takes skill to do it but in the traffic conditions we were in, insane. He maintained it not for a few seconds, but long until he was out of sight. There was no doubt he was showing off for her. I hate being in proximity to bikers when driving. They sometimes take chances that are so dangerous no matter how skilled they are when it can take so little to cause an accident. They count on the car they are playing tag with to maintain what they were doing but many times they startle the driver.
