I don't know why the group would have so much trouble writing a sentence, other than laziness. I correspond with people of all ages and abilities on Facebook and haven't noticed that.

The exception is a friend's daughter in India who is intellectually disabled. She's been exposed to many languages in her life and has an odd way of expressing herself. She's in her early 20s.
