I'll be heading north soon I'll be happy to be back on my own stomping grounds although I expect a lot of changes in the works for my family. All positive things, but changes nonetheless.

The daughter who usually is my lifeline, hampered with a broken ankle from falling on the ice some weeks ago, is doing a lot of major work on her own house so she won't be at my beck and call.

My oldest grandson has announced he's looking to get his own place supposedly because his Grannie said it's time and it is. He's about as green as it gets when it comes to the mechanics of living on his own in every aspect.

My granddaughter made an accepted offer on the first house she looked at. Only a week before, there was no inkling that they were in the market. I had hoped to make her an offer too good to refuse to rent or buy my house as just a starter home so that's no longer on the table. Their choice seems to be a good one overall.
