It's amazing how Mama Duck seems to regulate her breaks. Since she's finally settling in to sit on her sixteen eggs, she's on a predictable schedule. Every morning just about eight and every evening about 4, she takes off and disappears for about 30 minutes. Other than that, she can be found on her nest just about motionless for most of the time. The few movements she makes is using her bill to tuck in mulch around herself.
