Finally..trees have been trimmed and another anxiety is over. Three of the oaks were expected to be fairly routine but one had a huge limb mostly extending over and intertwining with a neighbor's. If it didn't come down just right, it would damage the fence.
They arrived at 8:00 am and I had to move my car out of the driveway..For the first time this season, the car windows were coated with ice and three big trucks surrounded the driveway. On a good day, maneuvering through them would be a hassle since I've not been driving and my judgement is rusty. Got the windows cleared and parked it without incident.
What a team these guys were and especially the climber. He not only removed the 10 ft. I expected but the whole limb to the tree trunk and landed it as gently as a feather. In an hour, all the trimming was done, debris raked up and the yard was in the same condition as before they came. One happy camper here! I've outlined the problem limb.
