Re: Med procedure requires COVID 19 test first - Nancy
Stacey never had respiratory issues of any kind prior to the chemo that started last month, when I noticed a slight breathlessness at times. And the nurse did hear a wheeze during treatment yesterday. The oncologist on-site called it a reaction. COPD usually makes itself known apart from and before any one specific factor, it's a noticeable decrease in one's ability to breathe over time. I saw Bob develop it and worsen over a period of 30 years. But of course, reactions can be just as difficult to overcome, and I am very concerned. I wonder how they treat patients with asthma.
