Re: Freezer story con'd.- Result
The freezer continues to run properly. The repairman felt that the problem would most likely have occurred in its computer mechanism and suggested replacement. We could have taken a chance and considered it a bleep but it could wind up a very expensive one if it should happen again. Luckily, our loss was minimal since we were already three weeks into our monthly shopping since starting to restock and I was able to refreeze half of what was there in our refrigerator freezer. I would not ordinarily refreeze but for the short length of time before using it would last longer than just refrigerating. Not willing to take a chance, we are replacing the part, more expensive than I had hoped, but a lot less than a new freezer would be.
