When we did our trust we were instructed to change the name on all of our accounts to the (Name of Trust, X and Y, Trustees. Otherwise in CA it had to go to Probate which costs money and can be expensive. When we moved to WA we had the trust redone to conform to WA law.

Somewhere there should be a copy of the IRA papers with the beneficiaries listed.

You might be able to use a paralegal for help which should cost less.
