We have earwigs. They're everywhere, this is the second infestation in our area in a couple of months. They're all over the street and the driveway, and they're long and skinny and they get under the door or maybe through cracks. They are totally annoying, they're on the towels on the rack when you want to dry your hands or your face. They're on the dish rack after you've washed the dishes. They crawl into straws just as you try to drink. They're on the underside of the toilet seat when you sit down. They love anything white, they're on washcloths hung to dry, toilet paper rolls, paper towels on the holder. We found one had crawled onto our chocolate cake inside the plastic container. Anaother crawled onto my hand and I felt a sting. So I'm fighting back. I spray them with anything close at hand, Spic and Span, Lysol, tile and grout cleaner, Febreeze. At least they die clean and smelling sweet.
