Re: Easter, Passover - Nancy
It sounds like Passover is not a holiday that can be enjoyed unless you have family and friends to share with. Easter is a family day also. Family more so than with friends. It's a day you visit with and eat with family after church. Some, like my Aunt followed some kind of tradition. She made a lamb roast, had goat cheese, whatever. Fortunately she also make a pork roast or chicken for those not into lamb. I never liked lamb. It was a of eating with everyone you haven't seen all year. After the food was removed the coffee and cake and pies appeared. everyone caught up on everyone else's life. After a few hours of socializing everyone went home, sometimes with a lot of leftovers. One aunt had the most space so most Easter feasts were at her house in Ridgewood.
