Elle, did I understand you to say that your Scottish family is with you and can't get home? With the babies and all?
Mike hasn't been doing well, it's reminiscent of before he had DBS. It's panic time for me at least once a day because he cannot swallow his meds and is so rigid it seems like he's having trouble breathing. Doctors have all canceled patient visits, the fellow working under his MDS at UCLA gave me a cell number in case I needed to talk to him. When I called, it said he isn't seeing patients and isn't monitoring that phone. That is what I call an uckshmay, but I kind of knew it when I met him once before.
Only two of us are venturing into the stores, one is my oldest daughter who is going against my advice, the other is Bert, who has an industrial respirator. They pick up what's there, odds and ends, never what we really need.
Thoughts and prayers for us all, especially at this time for New York.
