I'm still trying to find out what Trump's "plan" for this country is. Millions more minimum wage jobs? The destruction of renewable energy? Getting a useless wall built when the "flood" of aliens as it was called has stopped. What "plan" can he possibly have when he doesn't even know the difference between weather and climate? When he claims to know more about war strategy then our seasoned Generals? When he thinks windmills cause cancer and fumes?
How do the Reps rationalize all this? It keeps coming back to what I learned about religious cults. It's all a form of denial because their leader or savior keeps telling them what they want to hear. Every day they get what therapists call "reinforcement" from the leader - or in this case, not just the leader Trump but the memes they get, listening to FOX news and their favorite pundits. Whether what that leader says is true or not is never questioned. Never "fact checked" as we call it. They have a need and desire to believe whatever the leader/savior says no matter how silly or outrageous. I don't know how they would ever accept the truth without professional deprogramming.
I asked some Reps on FB I know including a few of RRs family. I'm waiting to hear "their take" on Trump's plan to make American Great Again for everyone, not just the 1% at the top. This should be interesting.
