I can't even guess what my son and Jane would have faced in a poor economy considering it took them months (Jane took 6 months/son 4 months) to find decent jobs with benefits. He works as a counselor with drug addicts and alcoholics. He will need further training to become certified here in FL. His training starts this month. Right now he is certified in NY. Jane is a research coordinator at UFL in Gainsville. She has years of experience so is well paid. I can't recall it ever taking anyone I knew months to find a job - including myself.
People are spending and have been before Trump came on the scene. I wont give HIM all the credit. But this economy is not helping the homeless and the MW earners. A vast number of Americans. It's not doing much for the middle class. They got the raises they expected and would have gotten anyway. It hasn't improved my life any or anyone I know here and I know a lot more people here than I did in TN.
How has it improved your life? If you and Geo own stock it probably has improved your life. If not, I can't see how it would have improved. And now there is talk the Trump Admin wants to take from the poorest to give to the rich (to cover the tax break losses) by cutting Medicare, Medicaid and SS.
