Re: Our old RV - Elle
Some can be taken apart to put in a trunk or van and some can't. Both of mine can be taken apart which takes only a minute. If Geo is still in good shape it would be no problem for him. Or he can have a scooter thing attached to the back of his car to just push it up on and drive off. They sell used ones for a fraction of the price of new ones. The used one for poor terrain we bought was only $350. If you shop online the 4-wheel like I have can be found new for around $800. Since the 4 wheel one is not good for off pavement we got the fat wheel one so I can run around the property. If you and Geo do a lot of walking off pavement, on grass or sandy areas get the one with the wide wheels. Had I known they had them one scooter would have worked for me. The fat wheel ones are great for on pavement also.
Another thing I like is they have baskets in front and some you can buy a basket of some kind for the back. You don't have to carry your cameras and lunch and whatever you take with you - just put them in the basket. When I went to the flea market with my son and Jane I had bags in the basket and all around my feet. No one had to carry anything.
