Re: It's a Small World - Elle
I'm not entrepreneurial in the slightest. I have no imagination in that direction. But my middle daughter comes up with all sorts of ideas. She and my sister are born on the same day, and darned if they aren't alike, especially in that regard. My sister has always been in businesses, besides her regular job. She and her first husband owned a small nightclub. With her second husband, she owned a cleaning service, and by herself and now with her third husband, they have a successful dog breeding business. As for me, I'm a writer, off in dreamland. I've been offered different ways to make extra money, I was told I was a natural when young to sell cosmetics because of the way I looked, but I wouldn't do it, and people have offered me money to knit and sew things for them, but I wouldn't do it. But my daughter tries all kinds of things, takes on things I never would. A mobile home park is her idea, not mine. I'm sure it would be costly to do, and I'm not into investing at my age.
The picture of the property on Google is more current than the last time I looked, as there are now definitely things there that weren't there before. We are doing whatever detective work we can from home, and we're finding out a few things that might be relevant. Tomorrow I will call the county offices to get some needed information, and we'll go from there.
Glen has been there, and taken pics of the property. He says the little house is full of trash, including oxygen canisters. I bet they are Bob's, who probably left them there 25 years ago, the last time he was up at the property.
There is also an interesting sign on the property, that I will tell you more about as I get more info.
