First of all, there are no such articles in the Constitution. Second of all, the Executive Office has equal power to that of the House. Witnesses had no first hand knowledge of any wrong doing. Worst of all was that proceedings were held in secrecy and even those who had the right to know were kept in the dark. There is a long list of what was done that were contrary to the whole procedure. Rules were made up as they went along. It was a partisan Democratic railroad job. Not one Republican approved it as well as two Democrats who did not and one who abstained. It was a travesty of justice that if allowed to continue effects not only Trump but every President who follows him. If a President can be impeached simply because he isn't liked, God help the country in the future. Impeachment will become commonplace and those who are in office to serve the people will be tied up in nonsense.
