Re: View from my sunroom - Carol
Yes, that house is across from me. The landscaping in the community is very nice and well maintained. The ground cover is all St. Augustine grass which looks green and lush from afar but not so nice to walk on. Maggie hates it. She has issues with where she goes. First of all, she hates getting her feet wet and morning dew presents a problem, no less not wanting to walk in the grass and yet she won't go on cement or asphalt. Every place looks nice, even those where the inhabitants could care less. A crew comes around every week, mows the lawns, trims the bushes. Someone came around this week spraying insecticide, I'm guessing for red ants. People who like to garden, or inherited a previous owner's handiwork may have more plantings than others. We have two palm trees in what would be the patio area and I'm envious of our next store neighbors on one side who inherited a beautiful tiled outdoor area. There are only two types of structures but depending on how much the owner wanted to put in or were handy, each has its own individuality. What I'm seeing now, when one is empty and the price is low, house flippers buy it, renovate and offer it for a nice profit within a few months.
