Re: Messages from 2009.
You all know how I love the past and history. It's so nice to hear about those people again. And there are so many more, do you have their names? I have some old correspondence somewhere, if I can find it, I'll post some of the names. I remember the Mavin well, he taught us a lot of things we didn't know about Judaism, holidays and such. When we no longer heard from him, I researched and found his relative, I think it was his daughter, and found out he'd passed. By the way, I did that for Muggs not too long ago, when he went missing. Found his daughter, a working phone, and called a couple of times. Never got a return call. I'm now friends on FB with NC Mike. MyPalSal was a kick. I think he, too, died. And how can we not mention Bill Boggs. I still have the Padre Pio medal he sent for Mike. I used to love to match wits with Greg Coyne, and his brother Timmy. If you mean Dan Tedesco, I don't know what is happening with him now. He was so special to me that I found I was leaning on him when I had not yet adjusted to my problems with Mike. I stopped writing because I didn't want to be a total downer for him, and my emotional state at that time was very low. I could depend on Dan for anything. I pray he is doing well.
Social Security has not updated its death index since 2014, some garbage about the privacy of the numbers, and it has really impacted the ability of genealogists to research. As well as anyone being able to find old friends if we know they are still alive.
