Re: The Situation in Syria
According to one of our military leaders in a news clip, troops were pulled from two towns where they knew there was going to be action. Very possible that Erdogan advised him that it was going to happen. Russia has supported Assad the Syrian President all along. He was accused of using chemical warfare. Syria is not part of NATO. Turkey is, although Erdogan is no prize either. The Kurds, from I gather, have their own group and get along with neither of the others but Turkey thinks they're terrorists. We were there to help the Kurds combat ISIS, we did and our job was over. Trump's decision got our men out of danger's way and I get the feeling there was no time to do a lot of explaining.
