Re: Saudi Arabia....
Saudi Arabia was attacked recently ostensibly by Iran when their oil refineries were set afire with drones and missiles, losing about half of the world's supply. They are strategic if Iran starts more aggressive actions in protecting both our and Israel's interests. A Defense Dept presser this morning announced, as I understand it, that there will be a change in deployment. We will have a combat ready force available without having them in a known base so that they can be deployed where ever necessary as needed and keep aggressor's "off balance."
We did not "abandon" the Kurds. We are still doing what we were doing. Our troops were moved out of two towns where an attack was known to be eminent. We are in Syria to combat ISIS only and cannot engage in the fight between the Kurds and Turkey.
