What I thought was so nice was how it differed from what I remember. After all, when you grow up in Brooklyn, you are aware of the customs even if you don't participate. Women were second class, were not important, did not take active part. Nothing was in English. And I don't think music was allowed. Scruffy old men in black coats with scowly faces were nasty to everyone! I don't have time now to describe some of my experiences because the Dodger game is starting in 9 minutes (but who's counting?) but I will in another post.
Dodgers HAVE to win today. It's critical.
