With your setup it would be ideal. You can walk out to the shed with a cane or walker to get your scooter. Bungee your cane to the side and off you go. Some scooters have some kind of hooks to carry walkers. They go fast enough for you to cross a street at the light.
I never liked thinking about this stuff either. We don't like to think of ourselves as ever being crippled or disabled but it happens.
That last trip to the big flea market brought it home to me. I needed more than a wheelchair or walker/transporter to free them and myself when we go somewhere.
With stores close to you it would work just fine but you would need one of the larger baskets to carry your purchases home. Mine came with a very small basket.
Other brands should be looked into also. I can't think of anything I would need that this one doesn't have.
Oh, I was told to avoid the ones with 3 wheels. Turning too sharply can cause them to tip over. I eliminated them before I got in the door.
