I knew it was time to do something when it was obvious I could no longer get through the entire flea market I love so much. When we had to leave places early because RR was having trouble pushing me in the transporter when I had to get off my feet. He has COPD and shouldn't be pushing me in anything. As for my wheelchair. It helped a lot but my arms would give out after awhile. I didn't want to become a burden to RR or my son and Jane. Someone always ended up pushing me when we were out having fun somewhere.
I'll still use my walker for quick trips to Walmart of WinDixie for a few items, to see the Dr, but the scooter for everything else.
I suppose we all have to find what works best for us and our health problems. This scooter seems like the answer for me.
