Exactly. And I have those plastic outdoor lawn chairs scattered around the property. I make good use of them. They'll probably be getting more use now.

Again, exactly! That is what so often happens or the pain gets to the point he has to come push the walker/transporter and I hold the shopping cart out in front of us. Or I just crap out completely from the effort of walking. (And no, I have no heart or lung disease as I recently found out.)
This is another reason we like to go to Walmart every few days. We don't have to do heavy weekly shopping as we did in the past. Even before becoming disabled I was often worn out after those weekly trips.
Age is taking it's toll - has been for awhile.
Another benefit is we eat a lot of fresh fruit and veggies. They don't all keep well so we now have an endless supply of fresh ones.
