Arthritis doesn't get batter with age and like you, I also have scoliosis. However it's never bothered me. It runs in my family. Some of my cousins also have it - it skipped a generation. Some people do have pain from it.
Walk as long as you can when you can. Several Drs made it a strong point that the WORSE thing us oldsters can do is SIT. To be inactive. We sure don't want our legs to atrophy.
I miss the long walks RR and I used to take. I always loved walking either along a country road to admire wildflowers or the scent of the forests and meadows - or to window shop in a city.
