In a country where medical care is free or low cost, they'd be less liable to complain because it's all they know. Unable to afford private care, it's good enough. I do know that if you had a cold or flu, the chances are that you'd be over it before you'd see a doctor..and that's straight from the mouth of someone born and living there. I will say that maternity care seems to be good although the mother might never see a doctor. They do have good midwives. I'm not sure who actually handles deliveries but it is in a hospital. As a guess only, most likely the midwives unless there is a complication.
Remember the days when a doctor would actually come to your house?
