The situation that you mention is not uncommon. There is no objection and important to teach a young child personal safety or in providing the information needed to prevent pregnancy or disease to students at an appropriate age. A young child does not need to become informed of homosexuality or gender differences as if it were the norm. If there is someone "different" noticed in school, they can be taught that there are people with "differences" and they should be respected. A simple explanation by a parent will usually be enough to satisfy curiosity. They don't need more. The goal of this school indoctrination is not safety, but to neutralize and encourage acceptance.
