As a child, I'd wonder why old people limped. Now I know! Steroids left me with muscle damage in the legs. The back might have been going on its own, but the combination has limited me for the past 3 and a half years. Neuropathy came on with steroid use, too. The arm was a direct result of improper use at PT. X-rays did not show a break although every time I'd use it it would snap and catch and crack and pop. It's getting better slowly, but still painful and can't be used normally. MRI next week. Driving is a problem for the past few months, when in addition to weak muscles I developed sciatica. Hard to hit the brake, and arm doesn't want to turn the wheel! Aren't you glad I'm not driving in your neighborhood?
