The business he had was started by fixing old computers and reselling them. Big companies usually do not buy computers, they lease them. He hooked up with some big companies to sell him their leased computers when they were replacing them, fixed and resold them. It evidentially got to be a pretty decent sized business with employees. I think when he gave it up, he probably got a decent amount of money, invested it and the proceeds probably pay a lot of his day-to-day expenses. He also had his own show on Newsmax for a year or two that probably paid a tidy sum. He also gets revenue from the ads on his sites as all these pundits do. His lifestyle is such that he doesn't need a heck of a lot.
What he has is a gift of gab, a good inquisitive mind and is a stickler for his reputation of keeping his word. People like and trust him and he shares his family life with them so its not like watching. Grass doesn't grow under his feet and he's always coming up with new ideas.
