Years ago, before I retired completely, I had registered with a networking company that brings together people looking for work and employers looking for certain skills. People who knew the registrant's work would add comments..almost like a mini reference. Now and then I'd hear from a head hunter asking if I were in the market for a job.
In the past couple of weeks, I am getting calls every day from different places and people asking if I was looking for work. In every case I've asked to be removed from their calls.
I'm wondering if the job market is such that people in my field of expertise are difficult to find or if this is the product of some new technical approach.
