Re: 10,000 and a big fat LIE. :) - Elle
It sounds to me like you thought your husband's job was more important than the toxic waste from washing the soiled uniforms causing harm to wherever that waste water ended up. I'm sure it occurred to you both that that toxic water went somewhere. Did you and Frank find out where that waste water, full of carcinogens and more went? Did it end up in the East River and ultimately the ocean? OSHA and EPA regulations weren't created for the fun of it, to put people out of business. They were created them to help keep toxic waste from polluting the land and water. You had to know that. Didn't you? Please explain "frosting on the cake" where regulations come in to protect all of us from those who take advantage (would poison us) for their own financial benefit. How does "frosting on the cake" apply?
You said: "The same goes for many of the resolutions that this administration rescinded, they were mostly new and not yet implemented."
You make this claim because you heard it on FOX or Lynch said it - yet you don't know what these regulations were for, or why they were put in place. Maybe you should learn what they are and what they were designed to protect us from. And what we will now be exposed to that will harm our health and the environment. I'm sure you must wonder what the Reps are doing that will harm your children and grandchildren even though it may not matter to you at your age. You owe it to them.
I'm sure Frank got Unemployment checks until he found another job.
