Don't BS me I only see the positives and not the negatives. I have said very little that is positive about these people looking for a better life. Perhaps you can direct me to the paragraphs where I praised them. In fact you jumped right on me when I suggested people need to stop hiring them, legal or illegal, to discourage them from coming here. And you failed to comment when I also suggested we fine and imprison people who hire illegals.
I see both sides but since I don't have to tolerate the negative side as you and all those who only see the negative side choose to do, I don't dwell and obsess over them. Why should I lose sleep over those people who refuse to move to different areas to avoid those they're prejudiced against for whatever reason?
I know, I'm going to hear about how your son's business suffered because the illegals did the same work for less. And those illegals were happy with the money they made. Your son could have dropped his prices to compete. Why didn't he? The illegals survived on what they charged and he could have also. Capitalism at it's finest.
So tell us, what is a viable solution to the problem? What is your solution? Closing the borders? Fencing between us and Canada and all along the gulf coast? Berlin-like walls with guard towers? No more visas?
Again - my solution is start to fine and imprison all those who hire illegals. Take their property away. Use E-verify. Once they realize no one will hire them watch the numbers drop off to near nothing.
I await all those positive things I've supposedly said about illegals coming into the country.
