We had a great spring championship with 41 dogs running in the CH and 26 dogs in the accompanying derby stake. The 4-day event had everything Wisconsin weather has to offer in the spring, from 80 degree temps, to a skiff of snow one morning, to tornado warnings on Friday afternoon. Even with all that going on, we were able to stay on schedule and everyone (and their dogs) remained safe.
Thanks to Chris Bye for judging the CH with me, and Jeremy Moore and Josh Matel for marshaling. Thanks, too, to Brent Sittlow and Keenan Foley for judging the derbies. There are many others to thank, too: Roger King and Denny Baumann for getting lunches and moving vehicles (among many other things), Rod Lein for getting coffee and donuts a couple days, and a myriad of other folks who jumped in to move vehicles, scout, and generally help us keep this trial moving along. Finally, a big thanks to Purina for helping make these trials possible.
