Thanks for sharing, Joe. I wish I could have been there, .. and almost did head out very early morning for the last day of running. But I didn’t want to think about it too much, or jinx it!
Thanks to the officers and directors of the Grand National, the judges, and everyone whose time and work is keeping the top events of this incredible tradition going. To compete in an event of this caliber is a dream come true. To get the pin is something else entirely.
Big thanks to Marc Forman for taking Artie (Resin) on and handling him to 2 titles so far. Thanks also to Deb Nihart. If you have a good dog and need a patient handler — someone who can read a dog, and more importantly, someone who dogs can read — give Marc a call.
Thanks to Jeff Keller, whose tireless energy is making the present and future of the cover dog world just a little brighter.
Thanks to just about everyone in this community. So many good people I’ve met over the years. So much advice both in words and example. Thanks to all who provide the opportunity for their good dogs to compete and fulfill what they came here to do. Thanks to all who can and do support and open themselves up to this tradition.
Thanks to Solon Rhode for being a great mentor, friend and hunting partner.
Thanks to Lance Bressler for your keen eye and smart breeding. Thanks for trusting me with your pick.
Resin is the real deal. I think Ryan is looking down with a smile knowing there’s a class dog like this flowing through the Allegheny plateau.
