I came across this post on Facebook that describes a bill in the US House that could severely affect bird dog training. This bears watching and contacting your representatives.

Good News. It is being reported that the language in the farm bill that would have outlawed training dogs with live birds has been removed. We can thank those that lobbied against this anti-hunting legislation.
