Just was thinking while reading about the recent Grand National Grouse Championship and following the current points leader for dogs and handlers and it got me thinking.
It was I believe November of 2001 that I started this board and although other social media has moved much information away from this site, I am proud of the good that has come from this site, from getting the news out about trials to just bringing the community closer together. I have no idea how many got to their 1st trial because of something they found on this site but I do know it has happened many times.
Thanks to all that have taken the time to use this site to share information for those looking for it.
Hard to fathom that this site has existed for 21 years but it has. Many other bird dog pages have come and gone in that time and its been around longer than Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, maybe it will out last some of those.
Keep posting because people are looking for the info you post.

Bill, I appreciate the Message Board and depend on it for my little taste of cover dog news. I've bought and sold on the Trading Post. And sadly received the bad news of old friends passing. Bill..Thanks for keeping this resource available.As most of you no Im a used to be Cover Dog judge full time Horseback guy and sometime hunter.Social media can contribute some positives and many negatives..Sort of a addiction if you will.Your service still gets the news out there in a quick non judgemental way.Keep up the good work. I am one of those that found my first trial here. I still prefer this site over any of the fb groups as it’s a centralized place to go and the information is easier to find in my opinion. Thank you for starting this and keeping it going.
