Sept 4, 2021: American Field ahs been sold to United Kennel Club.. I was manager of Field Operations at UKC for 16 years and editor of Hunting Retriever magazine for 10. UKC was formed in 1898.. This merger/purchase has been in the works for decades,,to 1982.. UKC motto was: "the Total Dog.. A great merge for the world of dogs. VP, Todd Kellam is a real working dog man, as much at home is a duck blind or hunting his English setters in the grouse woods. Great day for the "Total Dog" folks.
