The Amateur Grouse Championship returns to it's birthplace, Gladwin Field Trial Area, Sept 30 to Oct 3. Judges will be announced when they are confirmed.
National Amateur Grouse Championship September 30 thru October 3, 2021 We are pleased and proud to announce the following judges for this 2021 renewal of this Amateur Championship returning to its birthplace, the Gladwin Field Trial Grounds, Meredith MI. Both men accepted our invitation without hesitation. Joe Cammisa, Butler PA Joe is a long time trialer, officer in multiple field trial clubs who has owned and campaigned champion dogs, Judged and reported multiple championships across the many venues in the bird dog community. Dave Terhaar, Hamilton MI Dave is a well-known and respected field trialer competing on the Cover dog circuit, a winner of multiple championships. Those familiar will recall these champion dogs; Terhaar’s Rocko, Terhaar’s Elvis and Terhaar’s Rouge. A good number of pups from these dogs are in the homes and kennels of many a grouse hunter.
